BURRY HEIGHTS FALL CAMPING 2011
Burry Heights
Fall Camps
Just when you thought the fun and equality was over;
Just when you thought the spiritual
adventures were put on hold;
Just when you thought you’d have to
wait till next summer to see, and smell, and feel Burry Heights;
The Burry Heights camping program
evolves into something more...
Ladies and
Gentlemen, the time is upon us.
For the first
time in the history of the Burry Heights camping program, the pieces are in
place to execute a Fall camping program. In other words it’s time to get your
mudboots washed, heighten your skills as a ninja, and get your dodgeball arm
pumped, because BH is back to offer you one more weekend of magic before 2011
comes to an end.
The Fall camping program will be very similar to the summer camping program that is well known and loved; the only major differences are the length and the timing of the event. The Fall camp will take place over a 2 day period beginning on Saturday, November 26th, with the price of the camp reflecting the shorter length. The charge for the 2 day camp is $50.00 and is to be paid either electronically via Paypal (see paypal area below) or by Cheque/Money Order or Cash payment to be received the first day of the fall camp (Nov. 26th).
There will be a strict capacity of 100 campers per weekend camp; we expect an over flow of campers trying to attend this event and accordingly we advise that any camper that wishes to attend register as quickly as possible to guarantee their place in this historical event. To register for the Fall camp, an email must be sent to registration team
(fallregistration@hotmail.ca) and then verbal contact with the legal guardian of said child will be made.
Invites will be extended to those campers that attended the Junior and Intermediate Camps last summer (2011). With that said, the Fall camps welcome any potential new campers as well for one does not need an invite to register for the camp (information provided by this letter will also be posted on the Burry Heights Camp Facebook Page). The only restriction on registration is age; all campers must be between the ages of 9-13 by the end of the 2011 calendar year to register for the November 26th Fall camp.
Listed activities, rules, and what to
bring will be virtually identical to the summer camping program, and these lists
can be found on the Offical Burry Heights Website (www.newlabconf.com/eastdistrict/burryheights/);
the only major difference with regards to activities relate to the season of the
camp and accordingly activities such as swimming will not take place during the
Fall camp.
