New United Church Mission
Theme -
One More Step: Living in right Relationship
The United Church mission theme is a two year study resource. It is chosen by a
mission study task group made up of volunteers and General Council staff, from
submissions made by groups and members across the church. Past mission themes
have included Overcoming Violence: Seeking Reconciliation and Peace, and
Children: Is Anybody Listening? At the end of each mission study, participants
are asked to complete a written evaluation of resources. |
The most recent issue of the Mandate Special Edition ($2.95) is
available. It provides a number of tools to highlight the theme in many ways -
program outlines, Bible study, action ideas, resource lists.
